(Covid-19 update - March 12)
Dear SAGWA members,
We appreciate the enthusiastic registration for the upcoming All-Instrument Solo Recitals on March 29, 2020. However, in light of the current Covid-19 global epidemic we feel it is necessary to cancel this event. All registrations fees will be refunded to the payment methods that were used.
In the last few days the Steinway Company had already advised us they will cancel all concerts in their showrooms. For this reason we had lined up a venue in Falls Church VA and were getting ready to announce the change when Loudon County Public School (VA) and Montgomery County Public School (MD) Systems closed, and Fairfax and DC School Systems are bracing for distant learning options soon. Not to mention the myriad of other public service institutions cancelling or switching to online services.
We hope to have the opportunity to host this event in the near future and wish you all the best in these difficult times.

All instruments invited to come and perform a solo for your fellow musicians as well as listen to the talented students we have around the D.C. area on flute, piano, violin, viola, cello, bass, guitar, trumpet, voice and harp.
Please discuss with your Suzuki teacher before registering.
Music must be memorized, attire is formal, and soloists need to provide their own pianist if needed.
Please know your solo selection and preferred recital time before registering. You will be emailed your confirmed recital time 3 weeks prior to the recital date.
Recital Fee: $15 SAGWA members, $25 non-members
No refund will be issued after payment is made
