Tour of the Instrument Collection at the Library of Congress, Jefferson Building

The Music and Performing Arts Guided Tour is a one hour, docent-led tour focuses on music and performing arts at the Library of Congress. This tour will give a glimpse into the history of the Music Division while bringing to life the personalities who shaped it. The tour will focus on some of the Music Division’s treasures, including the Stradivarius Violins, The Coolidge Auditorium, and the Whittall Pavilion.
RSVP to Nora Hamerman by Dec. 12. This tour is open to all SAGWA members; each member may bring one guest.
Detailed instructions about where to meet and driving/parking (Metro is preferred) will be sent to all participants.
